- Emergency contact information: The name and phone number of the contact you designate within the App.
- Check-in data: Timestamps of when you check in through the App.
- Device information: Basic device identifiers for push notification delivery.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the check-in and alert services.
- To send SMS notifications to your designated emergency contact.
- To authenticate your identity and secure your account.
- To improve and develop the App.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except:
- SMS delivery: We use Twilio to send text messages. Your emergency contact's phone number is shared with Twilio solely for the purpose of delivering notifications.
- Authentication providers: If you sign in with Google or Apple, those providers process your authentication data under their own privacy policies.
- Legal obligations: We may disclose information when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement strict access policies to ensure you can only access your own data. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
